Narconon Hungary is in action! Do you know something about Narconon Hungary? Well, it is successful big Narconon doing both rehabilitation and drug prevention. It is like a tradition that Narconon Hungary every year organizes an anti-drug bicycle tour in the country in order to spread the truth about drugs to as many people as possible! This time the tour was done by the initiative of a businessman who is a big friend of Narconon Hungary. |

The “ Heroes Square” of Budapest, Hungary. Fourteen people started from the “ Heroes Square” in order to attract attention to the program of Narconon with their biking. The biking tour lasted for 13 weeks across 1650 kilometres along the boarders of the Hungary. Along the route drug education lecturers were arranged and many people got the message. In total 50 classes of 10 schools the staffs of the foundation have held lectures for more than 1000 children and adults!

The acknowledgements they have got from the schools are proving big times that there is really huge need for our work. There are a lot of wrong ideas and false data about drugs amongst young people. The statistics show that in Hungary only every tenth child has listened to a drug prevention lecture. Unfortunately the tour found that in the smaller villages it was even worse. The children barely knew anything about the dangers of drugs. Narconon Hungary will therefore intensify their work to get out to schools in the smaller villages. |

Students have fun with listening antidrug lecture. “The lecture was colourful, cheerful, expressive, and suitable for the characteristics of the age. Everybody felt good. The children were active. They were participating happily by asking questions on the subject….I got help for educating against drugs.”- said the teacher of Kossuth Lajos Primary Culture Center of Budapest.
