Spring started with Drug Education!
|
Drug Education becomes a very important activity in society escpecially in the spring time. Children spend a lot of time outside playing and chatting together, finding new friends and of course they are looking for a new experiences and fun. Drugdealers also do not sleep. They are very busy with spreading their own „truth“ about drugs amongst naive teenagers and make them try „fun stuff“.
Every Narconon center has their own lecturers, who are doing drug prevention in their area in orphenages, schools, universities, security and business companies, police and hospitals and even army and navy forces!

Narconon South Europe in Milan , Italy, made a drug education DVD and spread it in schools of Italy. Until now 35.000 happy kids watched this DVD and found out the truth about drugs. Narconon South Europe also trained students of public schools in Milan in how to do Drug Education lectures.
“This film, by looking at the various ways that lead to drug addiction, made us realize, that for many young people all can begin as a game, but a game from which it can be difficult to get out of. IIn Russia lately:
Narconon Standard, Moscow, made several Drug Education lectures in the cities St. Petersburg and Krasnoyarsk. Lectures were made in orphanage, schools and high schools! It was the first time when all these children found out the TRUTH about drugs! This Narconon often creates antidrug parties in popular night clubs, where teenagers usually gather to spend time with drinking alcohol and taking drugs. Such antidrug parties often change their view on drugs and make them realize what harm drugs actually can make to them.

In Belgium Monique de Clerck, Director of Narconon Belgium is doing antidrug lectures in schools, and creates interest amongst students to stay drug free!
Monique told us a wonderful story, that happened with one student, who listened her lectures:

“A student was taking drugs and doing bad at school the first time I came there. After the lecture and having a conversation with her, she stopped taking drugs and later when I came for the second time; she was one of the best students at the school. This girl now stays with me all the time when I give lectures in the school and she helps me during the lecture, taking pictures and looking for the materials.”
