NARCONON SOUTH EUROPE
26th ANNIVERSARY!

Narconon South Europe recently held its 26th Anniversary event in Milan. Attendees included over 120 graduates and Narconon® staff from Italy, Spain, Macedonia, Croatia, Egypt and Russia. Executives from Narconon Europe, Mia Persson and Narconon International also attended. |

Each year, Narconon South Europe presents the William Benitez awards to those who have made substantial contribution to the expansion of Narconon. |
The Narconon William Benitez center recently moved to Motta Santa Lucia in the province of Catanzaro. The staff contacted local authorities for support and they responded enthusiastically with their help. Thus an award was given to Mayor Francesco Zerardi, who welcomed the center in a big event in the city plaza, attended by the people of the city, including a concert by Danilo Ballo, a well-known Italian pop-musician who has arranged several antidrug concerts together with his band Sharada. Additionally, the City Hall of Motta Santa Lucia prepared a calendar for the year 2008 dedicated to Narconon.

Another award was made In Memoriam to the architect Moammad Salah who donated the building for Narconon Egypt. His sons, Karim and Nour, are top executives of the center. The award was received by his wife Yosria El Gazzar who spoke eloquently about the love between the father and sons and how proud he was that his sons are achieving humanitarian goals.

The third award was given to Anna Falcone. For 26 years she and her business partners have given all kinds of support to the Narconon network, helping to open centers in many towns in Italy, as well as in Macedonia, Croatia, Egypt, and Iran.

The Narconon drug and alcohol rehabilitation program was founded in 1966 by William Benitez in Arizona State Prison, and is based on the humanitarian works of L. Ron Hubbard. In more than 120 centres around the world, Narconon programs restore drug and alcohol abusers and addicts to a clean and sober lifestyle.
